Environmental education activities include guided tours and educational workshops to introduce a knowledge of the natural environment to students through direct experience. The proposed activities mostly relate to the nature reserves located in the Karst and can be fully addressed through educational workshops and talks given in a classroom setting. The structure of the Visitor Centre at Gradina has a Natural History and Historical museum featuring a tactile and sound routethat summarizes the main karst phenomena (karst lakes, lithology, karst formations, vegetation) and humankind's relationship with the land (pre-history, World War I and later economic development). |
